DIVAA Policies


Thank you for choosing to shop with DIVAA.
Terms and Conditions on purchase of products and General Information:

a) General Information:
1. Any matter/claim/dispute arising out of the transaction will be
subject to Mumbai jurisdiction only.
2. If payment is made by local cheque or demand draft, delivery of the
item purchased will be made only after realization of the instrument
amount.
3. The Company can withdraw or alter DIVAA Exchange/Buyback policy
without prior notice at any given time and the decision of DIVAA
shall be final.

b) 7-day Return policy:
1. In order to be eligible for returns, the product to be returned
should be accompanied by the original invoice/receipts and
certificates, warranty card (if any), packaging, free gifts, certificate
of authenticity, endorsement certificate and any other information
booklets that were a part of the original purchase packaging.
2. The product will be eligible for return only under following
conditions:
          i. It is unused and not customized.
          ii. It is in the same condition in which it was sold.
          iii. It is returned within 7 days from the time of purchase.
          iv. The product is not tampered with or altered.
3. To request for return of the product under the 7-day return
policy, you are required to do the following:
           i. Email our Customer Care within 7 days from the date of Product
              Invoice on customercare@divaa.co.in or return the product to
              the store from where it was purchased in person.
           ii. Pack the product along with all the original packaging,
              certificates, invoice (as mentioned in point b)1.) in the original
               packaging provided by DIVAA.
           iii. Call our Customer Care to confirm once the package is ready
                with all the requisites to arrange for re-shipment of the same in
               case of online purchase.

c)The company will accept jewellery under the 7-day Return policy
after due examination for weight of product and authenticity as a
DIVAA product, identification of damage or stone defects (crack,
replacement and alterations) etc. which will be conducted by the
Quality Check dept. at our Head Office.
d) Any request for further services such as repairs or
Exchange/Buyback of the products or complaints should be
accompanied with the original invoice/receipts and certificates,
free gifts, warranty card (if any), packaging, certificate of
authenticity, endorsement certificate and any other information
booklets that were a part of the original purchase packaging.
 
e) Upgradation, Exchange & Buyback policy:
1. 6 month’s Upgradation Policy (on all diamond studded DIVAA
jewellery only)
           i. Under this policy, you can exchange an existing DIVAA
             diamond studded jewellery product at its 100% purchase
             value with no deduction of making charges, for a new DIVAA
            diamond studded jewellery product which is priced 40%
            higher or more, by paying the difference value. This policy
            can be availed of strictly within 6 months of the original
             product’s invoice date.

2. We will be happy to accept DIVAA jewellery sold through any DIVAA
store, as per DIVAA’s prevailing terms and conditions of our
Exchange / Buyback policy, which is at the sole discretion of the
Company.

3. The company will accept jewellery under the Exchange/Buyback
policy after due examination for weight of product and authenticity
as a DIVAA product, identification of damage or stone defects
(crack, replacement and alterations) etc. which will be conducted by
the Quality Check dept. at our Head Office.

4. Exchange / Buyback of product purchased through EMI facility can
be done only after completion for remaining EMI payments. In case
you wish to return the product before completion of EMI then
standard deduction will be applicable for the same.

5. 48hrs exchange- Jewellery sold by DIVAA can be exchanged
for 100% of the invoice value at any of the DIVAA showrooms
for a product of the same value, if the jewellery to be
exchanged fulfills the following conditions:
          i. This exchange is done within 48 hours of purchase.
          ii. The original invoice/receipt and certificate is produced.
          iii. It is in the same condition in which it was sold i.e. the product
              is not tampered with or altered.
          iv. If you wish to exchange the product for a lower value
               product, no refund on the difference amount shall be given.
               However if you wish to exchange the product for a higher
               value product, then the difference in the amounts shall be
               paid by you.
          v. You can exchange the product for the full value only once. If you
              wish to exchange the design the second time, it will be
              considered as a Lifetime Exchange and those terms will be
              applicable.

6. At the time of Exchange/Buyback of jewellery purchased from our
store, we will value the piece on the terms and conditions of the
company as follows:
           i. Diamond studded jewellery:
                  1. You will be entitled to exchange the original product
                      at 100% of the DIVAA Indexation Rate for diamonds,
                      along with DIVAA’s prevailing gold / platinum rate,
                      subject to deductions for making charges.
                 2. In case of buyback, you will be entitled to get DIVAA’s
                     prevailing rate, subject to an additional deduction of
                    10% on diamond value and 8% on gold / platinum
                    value.
          ii. Solitaires:
                1. DIVAA 101 Solitaires will be exchanged at 100% of the
                    DIVAA Indexation Rate for solitaires and buyback at
                    90% of the DIVAA Indexation Rate for solitaires.
                2. Regular (57/58 facet) DIVAA solitaires (DIVAA Non-101
                    solitaires) will be exchanged at 90% value of the
                    DIVAA Indexation Rate for solitaires and buyback at
                    80% of the DIVAA Indexation Rate for solitaires upto a
                    maximum value of Rs. 2.5 lacs. For Buyback /
                    Exchange above Rs.2.5 lacs, DIVAA will facilitate by
                    listing the solitaire free of charge on its website and
                    you can set the price for the same.
         iii. DIVAA 22 kt plain gold chains will be exchanged at DIVAA’s
              prevailing 22 kt gold rate and buyback at 5% less of the net
              weight of gold.
         iv. DIVAA 18kt and 14kt gold chains will be exchanged at
              DIVAA’s prevailing gold rate and buyback at 8% less of the
              net weight of gold.

7. While normal wear and tear is to be expected, suitable deductions
are applicable, which shall be upto 100% for excessive wear and
tear, damage, or stone defects (crack, replacement, alterations and
loss of bill and certificate) etc.
8. All products covered under the Exchange / Buyback and upgrade
policy will be eligible for such Exchange / Buyback and upgrade only
after the approval of the Quality Check department at the Head
Office.
9. The weight of the gold will be net of all pearl, stones, lac, dust, dirt
and any other extraneous material.
10. Free Gift / discount issued during the original sale, will be deducted
at the time of Exchange / Buyback at Invoice value.
11. None of the products can be exchanged for gold / silver coins / bars.
12. Credit card charges to be deducted over and above the buyback
deductions, on the overall value as per company policy.
13. All buyback valuation will be exclusive of GST. Payment on buyback
or any refunds will be made compulsorily by Cheque only, within 10
working days.
14. Specific Collections/Designs are not subject to above Exchange /
Buyback policies and the same will be mentioned on the invoice
copy. They are at the sole discretion of the company.

f)Non-DIVAA Products Exchange Policy:
          1. The exchange of non DIVAA jewellery will be at the sole discretion of
               the company.

g)Resizing & Repairs:
          1. If you want to resize your ring, the company will resize it free
              of cost (no making charges) except in certain cases where the
              resizing is not possible.
          2. If the resized ring costs more than the existing ring, the
              incremental cost shall be borne by you. We will intimate you
              before undertaking the resizing process and only on
              confirmation in writing or on email, will the process be
              initiated.
         3. If the resized ring costs less than the existing ring, the
             differential amount shall be refunded to you.
         4. If for some reasons, your product needs to be repaired, the
             company shall repair / replace the product for charges which
             would be determined by the company on a case to case basis.
         5. Shipping charges under Repairs & Resizing policy shall be
             borne by you.

h) RBI Mandate for PAN Card and COD
        1. PAN CARD proof is mandatory for orders and purchases above
            Rs. 200,000. The order / purchase will be cancelled if you fail
            to produce the same.

i)Customised Jewellery
        1. If you cancel a customised jewellery order within 24 hours of
            placing the order, the advance amount will be refunded to
             you. 
        2. In case you cancels a customised made-to-order jewellery
            order after 24 hours, there will be a 25% deduction of the
            order value before the refund is processed to you. 
        3. If you do not pick up a made-to-order jewellery order within 60
            days from the store, the order will stand cancelled, and the
            advance amount will be refunded to you in the form of a gift
            card for the same value of the order.
